Like an extra set of hands. The clip clamp attached to a light stand with a 5/8” lug or 3/8" threaded male insert - and features a 5/8” male lug with internal 3/8” female thread. Mount the clamp to a light stand and attached a Varos umbrella adapter. Use the clamp to hold an 8 AA hot shoe flash battery pack or other accessories needed near your flash.
Or, improvise: Use the clamp to hold a backdrop in place - anywhere you need something held.
